thats my problem with accepting fat-- i am who i am!

to an extent, sure. i was really fat at one point (just kinda now). i hated it. i would imagine other fat people feel the same. but it seems that there isnt a yes, while you arent less of a person bc you are fat you should also try and not be fat message.

I agree with that. People closer to the overweight/obese BMI line (such as me) might take a sick comfort, or at least feel slightly better about themselves, when there are so many people who are grossly obese. I mean, I go to the gym and on a rare occasion lace up the running shoes, but I think if I was the majority example of obesity and not the new normal I would be more motivated.

I think we'd be a much healthier nation if people looked at themselves in the mirror naked more often.

Oversimplifying, do particular aspects of your current health impede your ability to "do/be you"? If so, try health modification actions that might change that in some measure.

What you are is what you are but not entirely what you might become, that sort of thing

azrider, tell me about open relationships. i met a girl-friend over the summer who is now trying to open her relationship up, she's a free spirited chick, an animal human, a little witch. I helped spiritually guide her on her path of new discovery. We're both free-love type of people and have grown as friends . Anyway, her BF is more traditional and they've been together a long time, but he seems willing to try and understand her desires to explore her different kinds of love and i think they've started setting boundaries. Me and her communicate well and are now starting to come across moments where the lust is strong and primal instinct is kicking in, so giving into that would probably be dynamite, but i'm not sure they would survive in the long run. On the other hand, we'll never be fully comfortable with each other until we bang. I'm not invested in much besides the friendship, i got all kinds of love for everybody, and I think I should just hang on the sidelines while they figure out what the next stage of their relationship looks like. These things don't usually end well unless both people in the relationship feel the same way about it right

i'd like to again thank slugs. i used to be obsessed with "no unread threats" and click on stuff i had no intention of reading (wrassling, comics, etc.) just to mark them as read*. But now I no longer feel the need to do that. You've cured me!!

*-(i don't want to use "mark all threats are read" in case there is something down there that I'd missed and it comes up in a search someday).

Most dudes that say they're into open relationship with their GF are just hoping to see some girl on girl action and a three way. I've also experienced some guy who liked to watch his GF get it on with some other dude. It's just way too messy, IMO. Plenty of other opportunities out there in life. There's a few female friends that I'd love to bang and the sexual tension is there, but even one I jokingly had permission from her BF I wouldn't do because I hate to be responsible for breaking up a relationship. If there is one thing azrider ain't, that's a home wrecker. For those in an open relationship, I think you should just not be in a relationship.
