that was after getting in one line only to find out that once i got to the front that there were two locations in the same building. of course my polling place was the other location. so i had to go wait in that line. about 30 people from my initial line followed over a few minutes later. pretty chaotic. not the best at all.

i've have never voted on any machine other than those kind of machines. they're very secure.

it isnt a security thing, i just was mildly confused and hope i did it right. i forgot to vote on the judge thing. if i had wanted to do a write in i would have had no clue how to do that.

hit the little writein part and you write it at the top on a piece of paper.

I know what you mean Cal -- after hitting "Vote" it feels weirdly anticlimactic. I've done it a bunch of times now and still kind of gave the worker a "We good here?" look when I walked out

They should have it play a brief tune after your vote is cast, like "three cheers for the red, white, and blue" or something like that

I was a bit confused about this too but not for the machine itself. Because as pac said it seems very secure. However the lady was so old and was signing people in like 5 at a time it seemed and the line I thought got out of order so I have no idea if my vote was attributed to me or someone else. Oh well.

votes and voters are not linked at any time.

Hm, guess I've never known how things like VoteBuilder/NGP VAN get that type of info then.

DC is voting on statehood. It'll win and it'll be non-binding. Congress would have to take it up, which they won't. Still, it shows their intentions to get out from under the thumb of BIG GOVERNMENT!!!

I have to figure out a lull period to go vote. The church I vote at always has a bake sale. The longer I have to wait in line the more likely I'll be to buy something.

LOW CARB DIET IS A DETRIMENT TO VOTING

reports of white supremacists going to the polls to 'watch' appear to not be coming to fruition early into voting.

re stickers:

at least in chester county, the people running the poll have to buy/bring their own. not provided by the board of elections. i had never gotten a sticker until today.
