People who have phone banked before...what can I expect when I show at the office? A list of numbers and a specific script for each 'type' of voter or something? Though I guess they'd be smart to give one person each of the same type of script so you get better at it...

I assume I have to use my own phone too? Guess I'll bring headphones assuming it'll get pretty loud in there.

I don't think we've had any polling where anyone would be weighed more than 2-3x. before i wasn't allowed to do this sort of thing, we used to phone bank on lines IN the place; now you'll certainly be able to use your mobile but they should have lines there too. yes, you'll be given a script that's supposed to be tailored for the type of voter you'll be calling and also with some answers for questions they may have. usually they say who they are targeting that day and you'll be able to get used to it. the first few may be rough but it's no big deal. people that are open to answering are usually fine with you stumbling. the meanies weren't going to be swayed anyway.
