While Trump has consistently had a small lead in Georgia, it's been three weeks since the state was polled. (I think that takes us back before the first debate.) Given that the state is 60% white, I'd wonder if there really is a chance to flip it. There's probably no down ballot race there, so I wouldn't expect the Dems to put a bunch of resources there, but I don't think McCain is going to lose so what the heck.

With the exception of course being that Bob Dole may be a decent man, this is exactly what the GOP did in 1996 when it was evident Dole was going to lose
