@NoahCRothman
Mike Pence is on CNN going off on Bill Clinton's accusers and connecting them to Hillary, including Lewinsky. He's all in, folks.

He said a dozen things yesterday that would have been THE story coming out of any debate in the past. It's hard to keep up with them all.

because Trump's campaign creates bullshit at such a pace that it outstrips both the media's ability to cover it as well as the general public's ability to absorb it
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

While Trump has consistently had a small lead in Georgia, it's been three weeks since the state was polled. (I think that takes us back before the first debate.) Given that the state is 60% white, I'd wonder if there really is a chance to flip it. There's probably no down ballot race there, so I wouldn't expect the Dems to put a bunch of resources there, but I don't think McCain is going to lose so what the heck.

Even if they can't make down ballot damage they might be able to plant some seeds for 2020.

Ryan said he's done defending and campaigning with trump.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Ryan won't defend trump anymore. Will not campaign with him. Focus on winning the house.

Did not rescind endorsement however, so not really sure what a that even means.

With the exception of course being that Bob Dole may be a decent man, this is exactly what the GOP did in 1996 when it was evident Dole was going to lose

Actually, I have come to admire Bob Dole in many ways, and he has been treated quite poorly by movement conservatives and the Republican Party in general, yet he remains loyal. He dedicated his life to serving his country in many ways, and while I didn't always agree with his political views many issues, do believe he deserves better.

Also, I have no idea how representative any of this is, but it seems almost all the conservatives on my facebook feed are demoralized, and even one guy who seemed pretty stalwart pro-Trump is at the "none of the above" point. On the other hand, this makes me wonder if most of the undecideds aren't conservatives and are unlikely to vote for Hillary.
