In a windowless room in a swanky hotel half a block from the White House on Friday afternoon, three of the most visible leaders of the Alt-Right movement held a two-hour press conference to discuss their affection for Donald Trump and their hopes for a white homeland. The white supremacist Alt-Right movement has grown over the last eight years or so, incubated in racist forums like StormFront and meme-loving corners of the internet like 4chan and 8chan. Its members generally share a disdain for political correctness, feminism, zionism, Jews in general, immigration (especially Hispanic and Muslim immigration), and anyone who criticizes them for holding these views.

jh, come on now. You know it's true. These people are trash. You can't defend them. Hillary is right, the real victims are those who aren't racists or bigots and believe Trump. He's conned these poor people and it's disgusting. He's not going to do a single thing for them.

If the GOP nominee was Marco Rubio or John Kasich and Hillary Clinton had said that I would have been OUTRAGED and whatnot. Though I think if they were the nominee the comment would've been more horseshit, and outrage would've been warranted. But I would be reflexively defending them no doubt no matter what the insult.

Instead I'm just offering my opinion, influenced by bourbon and lack of sleep, that this was a dumb thing for her to say. I don't much want Hillary to lose. But comments like this aren't helpful.

Sometimes it feels like half of hillary's voters are driven by animus and hate for trump/trump voters.

IDK, whether or not you respect them, trump voters will ended up making up ~45% of the voting population. It's a force to be reckoned with and dismissing most of them as racists not worthy of any further thought isn't really addressing the problem. Even if you think Hillary is definitely going to win (which is pretty bold at this point) there's still the senate and the house.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

I'm starting to think she's going to lose because nobody seems to care about the things Trump has done that should really disqualify him, such as the russian stuff and the pay for play stuff. The racist stuff should also disqualify him, but too many people believe that nonsense for it to hurt him as much as it should. I have no idea how the other two things aren't at the top of the news each day. There was a time when there was a clear liberal media bias. This election has proven that there is now a very real conservative media bias.

I think the #NeverTrump movement is big enough that Hillary will win, but the Democrats might blow a major opportunity with the Senate. I could see a trade of Wisconsin and Nevada (i.e. no net change) with everything else staying status quo.
