Love me a Brazilian steakhouse. Last time I went to one it was a somewhat slow night and the servers came around so often I started to feel like Lucy in the chocolate factory. Couldn't bring myself to turn the placard around though.

On the back deck groovin to Elvis -- Costello that is. Weather is mid 70s with blue sky and total sunshine. Like totally. Thanks SK.

Kudos to Mrs. Brandy Young, a second grade teacher in Texas, who has informed all her students' parents that she will not assign any homework this year because she feels it does not help a student learn.

This should be a national thing.

I don't think I ever did homework. Told the teachers I'd work from home if I didn't have to go to their bore ass classes.

You're not going to get drafted with combine numbers like this.

they also keep 18 months worth of transactions online (which is OK, I guess), but they only keep 6 months worth of check number indeces online. So when you search for a check number it comes up fine if it's less than six months old, but older than that it comes up unfound. But you can, however, just search by date range and bring up the older checks and images. This resulted in me sending in requests for 76 check images so I can try to make sense of my mom's checkbook. Which then resulted in an inbox flooded with "you can do that online" messages (with no mention of the 6 month check # restriction).
