Nah, mostly we just have been seeing each other a lot. Plus, the house thing has given him a bunch of opportunities to give me Dad advice.

let's all clap for Peter Thiel. Gawker was annoying but also did some real good work and didn't deserve this.

Not worth it to go into that but it obviously was wrong.

However you should not be able to put a 'news' organization (yes they do (did?) some really stupid shit but they had some good work on there too) out of business by funding any lawsuit you think has a chance. There's no reason that this formula can't be used on any struggling news enterprise.

this has been discussed before, but they did several good things. and yes, they also mentioned that the already publicly gay Thiel was gay. it isn't a privacy violation to out someone who is already out. He didn't like this so he funded a bunch of lawsuits against them that they couldn't have the money to properly defend to get them shut down.
