Had a crazy time last night at this beef and beer for the Archbishop Carroll crew team. A friend of mine has a nephew on the team, and he invited me and a couple of my friends along. I wasn't driving and the bar was open, so why not. At the auction stage, I ended up getting into a bidding war with one of the parents over an oar signed by the AC crew team. Thought it would look great in my basement, and I itemize anyway. The number got up to $200, which was my cue to stop bidding. But a bunch of the parents must have taken notice, because they came up to me after and asked what year my son was and wondered why never saw me at any of the meets. Really didn't know what to say. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't drive home. We got pulled over by an Irish cop because our license plate was unreadable, which was total BS. No ticket though, so fuck 'em.

Aww man, thought I had a frozen pizza in the freezer.
