Pensamientos Aleatorios ("Random Thoughts" for you Gringos)

Didn't realize my Phillies flag from last year had gotten so faded. Should have stuck with my original plan to only fly it after victories, which would have kept it fresh and new.

Right after I read this post, I walked past our break room and saw a single roll in a ziplock bag that's up for grabs. The confluence of these events strikes me as weirder than it probably is

A friend asked me if I wanted to see what she did this weekend, assuming it's wedding related or gardening or something.

NOPE. she cut off half her thumbnail with a rotary fabric blade (think pizza cutter) and it was not pretty. thx for the warning.

Personally I don't like raising and lowering my flag up and down the pole constantly, so I use this...

http://www.spadepot.com/shop/303-Outdoor-Fabric-Guard-P761C57.aspx?zmam=55673001&zmas=1&zmac=1&zmap=MT1040&gclid=Cj0KEQjwoYi4BRDF_PHHu6rI7NMBEiQAKZ-JuO19bT3DRyl7-bcVaZiZnxdrY7DEJTKR9rJG_GY-fMoaAicu8P8HAQ

It keeps it looking good and it doesn't get hard or stiff like some other products. It really allows it to seamlessly float in the wind.

That guy from Indiana who was murdered on the trail in 2011? They never found his killer.

I'm just sayin' Napalm, before you reveal too much to Calvin.

Strangely, there a lot worse airports. But yes, it's awful. Miami is awful as well.

Miami's is massive, it seems. I remember having to walk what seemed like 15 minutes to get to our gates.

I don't mind Philly.

Generally unfriendly gate agents, baggage claim is traditionally slow as hell and very condensed and overcrowded security lines. Also, the food options are very limited which makes it tough for someone who often eats dinner when flying home.

Sunday was an awful experience and the ex-US Airways employees have no idea what they're doing with the American systems.
