Heidi Cruz wrote:When I thought about doing it for our country, it became very clear to me that our family must be in this race. And it also became clear to me that we are at a cultural crossroads in our country and if we can be in this race to show this country the face of the God that we serve — this Christian God that we serve is the foundation of our country, our country was built on Judeo-Christian values, we are a nation of freedom of religion, but the God of Christianity is the God of freedom, of individual liberty, of choice and of consequence.

And I think that’s something that this country really needs to be reminded of, is that Christians are loving people, are nonjudgmental people, but there is right and wrong, we have a country of law and order, there are consequences to actions and we must all live peaceably in our own faiths under the Constitution. And Ted is uniquely able to deliver on that combination of the law and religion.

I like Bernie Sanders and his overall message but I am not a fan of that video. It strikes me as a bit too pandering and anti-police for my liking. It is possible, if not probable, that I am seeing/hearing something that is not there but that was my initial reaction after watching it.

overall, the debate looked like a clear winner for Clinton because it didn't move the needle and I think she gave a great close. Regardless, having a substance-filled debate is a win for both of them compared to the clowns on the other side. These are serious times and we deserve serious leaders like these two.

I did like this line by Bernie:

"I happen to believe that Henry Kissinger was one of the most destructive Secretaries of State in the modern history of this country," Sanders said. "I'm proud to say that Henry Kissinger is not my friend."

ENDA fails in Florida, still legal to discriminate against LGBT there

the reason? the T part wanted to go to the bathroom and conservative lawmakers were scared.

i think 26? other states, as well, including PA

So it appears Cruz's ad people have unwittingly used a porn performer as a spokesgal in one of his South Carolina ads....

So a trans-man, several years into HRT has to use the woman's bathroom. I'm sure that's comfortable for everyone involved.

They are defending it by saying she was only into soft-core porn.
