thanks cal, i guess that counts. but it still doesn't feel right. i guess i mean more like an activity or job that i'm super passionate about. like i work all day and when i get home i just want to sit on the couch til my eyes close

hear yah. youve uprooted yourself a bunch recently too. that is hard.

so i dont think youre not passionate about stuff, you just need to find avenues to pursue them.

take some adult night classes in things you enjoy. volunteer with a non profit. world needs people like you!

Before I got married and my soon to be wife and I moved in together, I felt the same way. Between work and commute I was out of the house like 11+ hours a day, then I'd get home and we'd eat dinner on the couch and watch TV til bed time. I definitely felt like something was missing, then we got married and had a kids, and I've just gotten super involved with my kids stuff which keeps me busy. I still wish I had passion for something outside of family, I'd like to write some stuff or take up woodworking but tomorrow just always seems like a better time to start that stuff....

that's exactly it. there's so little time to invest in outside of work and my one sorta hobby (video games). i even timed out of like 25 chess matches where i had THREE DAYS to make a move. ennui blows

i have no passions at the moment. There's no time for shit

i run/ride my bike, take photographs, fish, do volunteer advocacy for a non profit, go hiking/camping/backpacking.

i am a modern man.
