My mother in law is texting me every picture she took yesterday while we were at brunch. I was looking at them as she was sending them for a few min, but stopped after the first dozen or so, I'm now up to 58 texts from her and I'm getting like 2 or 3 more a minute from her.

My own personal hell

Avoided, thankfully, by the iPhoto stream we set up for family (with iPhone or Mac)

My MiL has an iPad and an android phone, so we are halfway there. We got her on the photo stream for the iPad but she's hopeless with the damn phone. And it freaking kills me because she holds her point and shoot camera next to her phone and takes the same pictures with both so I get two copies of every damn picture she takes one from her shitty android phone and one with the date and time stamped on it from her p&s becasue she doesn't get the whole exif data thing.

Dunno if anyone here is guilty of doing it, but I hate when people post every picture they took when 9 out of 10 are the same thing with slightly different angles or facial expressions. Pick the best one or two and show those. Lots of offenders this past week with prom season

that's not bad when they show up as a single post ('nancy has posted 44,405 new pictures') so you can just click 'like' and move one. it's screamworthy when they show up as every other post on your timeline

Bay Bridge is a potentially huge disaster. Much like the 2nd Ave Subway or the Big Dig in Boston, it took years longer to complete than anticipated, and ended up costing significantly more than predicted/budgeted. And it seems like it wouldn't even be an improvement over the old bridge should a big earthquake hit

I haven't tallied it up exactly and they don't tell you, but it appears you need 35 to pass and I'm pretty sure I got around 40.
