A friend of mine has a Giant Flemish Rabbit which pushes 20 pounds. It freaks me out a little bit although I also kind of want one.

if you go to the PA Farm Show you see rabbits that you can't possibly believe are rabbits. They're just big lumps, almost like if you took out a tumor and stuck some hair on it.

onetime Wrecking Crew member and sort of Jesus-y looking rock star Leon Russell once advised the audience at an Eastertime show he was playing thusly:

Leon Russell wrote:Don't get hung up about Easter

While with the Wrecking Crew, Russell backed a wide variety of performers on some well-known recordings, including Herb Alpert's Whipped Cream & Other Delights.

This chick has my favorite hat, maybe of all time, but after the little problem she started with my neighbors about a month ago, I had to cut her off. She still texts and calls everyday, and all I want to tell her is that I just want my hat back. I've had good times and memories in that hat. And... They don't make this hat anymore.

This seemed random-y to me:

Jazz-focused scribe Marc Myers writes a more general-purpose music/culture column for Wall Street Journal, and today he's posted material from a recent interview he did with The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson.

I did not know that

a) Wilson's releasing a new album (No Pier Pressure) next week. For Beach Boys fans, the interview includes links to 'leaked' tracks from the album;
b) A Wilson biopic is due for release in June. The interview includes a link to a trailer for the movie. It looks like Paul Dano is playing the young Wilson, which gets my attention. Plus John Cusack's in it

Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Yep, and Brian Wilson's playing at the Mann this June. I am fascinated with Brian Wilson, and I really wonder if his handlers (and his wife) have his best interests at heart. Jeff Beck had some interesting comments about working with him fairly recently.

I saw him open up for Paul Simon at Hershey oh, I guess it was 10 years ago. The music was great but his song intro talks were super awkward. They had him signing autographs at intermission and I got him to sign a copy of Pet Sounds. A couple of people after me, they closed the line and resumed the show.

This one lady walks up to him and says, "will you sign for me?" He takes her CD, and just stares at it. For about a minute or two.. His handler takes it out of his hands, hands it back, and says, "sorry, mam, not tonight." It was almost as if there was an off switch and he had been deactivated.

The man is obviously not well. I know it's because of all the drugs in the 60's, and probably the abuse he had at the hands of his father. Still, something's not right. Yet they keep pushing him out there for fan interactions and stuff. I wonder if he would rather just play and sing on stage and let someone else take care of the MC'ing for the shows.
Together we will win this game against the evil Space Yankees! Eat Fresh!

I've been reading this Einstein biography.This is a contract he wrote for his first wife when they were having problems.

“A. You will make sure
1. that my clothes and laundry are kept in good order;
2. that I will receive my three meals regularly in my room;
3. that my bedroom and study are kept neat, and especially that my desk is left for my use only.
B. You will renounce all personal relations with me insofar as they are not completely necessary for social reasons. Specifically, you will forego
1. my sitting at home with you;
2. my going out or traveling with you.
C. You will obey the following points in your relations with me:
1. you will not expect any intimacy from me, nor will you reproach me in any way;
2. you will stop talking to me if I request it;
3. you will leave my bedroom or study immediately without protest if I request it.
D. You will undertake not to belittle me in front of our children, either through words or behavior.”

She signed. His most brilliant idea.
