no, i apply it to every teenager that age. they're not kids anymore and they're probably having more sex than you anyway. 38 states would think it's ok.

Some of the charges are rape. Are all underage sexual activities considered rape? I think there is a difference between having sex with a minor and a rape charge, no? Because if there is a difference and she is convicted of three cases of rape, I can't say life in jail would be unfair.

It's rape. She was in a position of power with the ability to manipulate them. This argument comes up repeatedly and it's stupid and immature that anyone thinks it isn't rape.

Almost every 16 year old I have ever met wouldn't mind having sex with an older, attractive lady. But that's not really the point I want to argue. I'm more taken aback by the potential life in prison charge for the alleged crime.

i didn't talk about the rape charges once, just age of consent. and i don't know enough to comment on the charges, but i'm willing to guess that these children paid for their own gasoline and drove their vehicles over to her rape place when this happened.

I understand what Napalm is saying. I was a freshman in college at 17. I can't see any scenario where me having sex with a 35 year old woman at that age could have been considered rape.

I guess it's a power/responsibility thing. It's wrong but I'm not sure 'rape' is the right word for it...there just is no word for it. She should be punished in some regard but life in prison (which I'd doubt she'd get) seems a little much.
