Changed the headlight in my car. Calling it a productive weekend

Bought a hat at Modell's for a Xmas gift and they forgot to take the security tag off of it. FFS inept trainee cashier

This summer I had to change a tail light bulb in my Mustang. Took over an hour... probably would've been less if not for all the cursing. To change a tail light bulb, you have to remove the whole tail light assembly. To remove the assembly, you have to remove the trunk liner to gain access to the bolts. I wanted to track down whoever designed it like that and choke 'em.

Heard that. This particular one was remarkably easy. My other car, though, is awful. First you have to undo a couple of bolts to remove a shroud on the back of the light assembly, then getting the old bulb out isn't too bad, but getting the new one in is insane. There's this four-dimensional clip designed by M. C. Escher that you have to be a double-jointed monkey to fasten.

wife got dizzy and fainted at dinner. everything checked out okay and she was discharged from the ER already. no really known reason aside from dehydration and some female-related things.

on-call gyno this morning now thinks she had a very early miscarriage.

weirdly emotional day now as neither of us had any idea she was even pregnant or possibly pregnant.

I know you're going to, but get her checked out top to toe. Can be hard to troubleshoot that kind of thing & while most ER MDs are great at what they do, they're particularly great at rescue care, not so much long-haul stuff
