If my math is correct that's $40 for 64,000 cans of Mountain Dew

i average saving about $15 on $80 at target every week. makes me feel alive

Got a work friend who buys 3-4 Diet Mountain Dew 20 oz. out of the vending machine all day. Dude flat out refuses to buy a 2-liter and just keep it in the fridge. Wastes so much. Baffling logic.

Following up on my little fender bender with an ambulance last week... the ambulance company's insurance agent called this morning and they are accepting liability, so that's good. Now I have to go to their preferred collision shop for an estimate and then I can have the repairs done wherever I want. The guy from the shop called me about 20 minutes later saying he can't do the estimate until Thursday at the earliest, so that sucks. They're going to cover a rental car too but not until the collision shop actually starts repairs. Luckily I can take public transportation to work otherwise I'd be kinda fucked.

It was an option when I signed up but I declined because it would have increased the premium and I was taking the train to work daily at the time

Feels like you ought to be able to get more from the other insurance company. You might have to pony up and fight them for it after the fact though.

mb might be able to get a decent settlement in a lawsuit too. corporate defendant, probably pretty good insurance, rear end collision is pretty clear cut, gotta be able to demonstrate injuries. lawyer would keep 1/3 and it would drag out for a long time, possibly years. weigh the pros and cons.

I'm In desperate need of a stylish messenger style bag for my iPad, a small micro4/3 with extra lens, and a few pockets for chargers, phones, cords...

I never realized how damn difficult this is. How can merchants try to sell some bag and not have a picture of the inside and dimensions? I saw one that I really liked but I'm not spending 180 dollars on a bag. I guess I will continue to sport my ten year old laptop bag and be laughed at by twelve year olds at the airport.

Hah actually was a little sore the next day but def not gonna sue or anything... I just want the repairs covered without paying the deductible or having my premium increase. That seems to be what's happening and the rental is really just a bonus in my mind.

Why is it that when you finally bitch and complain about something, you find the answer right in front of your nose? I should start complaining more often.
