I haven't bought shaving cream in about 15 years... Cause it sucked! Fast forward to 2014 and azrider had to run to albertsons because he ran out of shaving gel. The only product on sale was Nivea shaving cream. I was like fuck it, let's give it a try. The stuff ain't too bad. Kind of does a better job than the gel I've been using for 15+ years.

95% of the time, i just shave in the shower then clean up in the mirror after with no gel/cream. i've never had a problem with razor burn or anything.

I use a gel on my face/head while in the shower. Can't remember the last time I used the bathroom mirror to shave

i have two cans of shaving cream somehow. seems like i've had both of them at least two years

I use a razor blade or an electric shaver. I'm not sure I could shave with a mirror. They aren't very sharp.

I hated the cost and how painful those goddamn blades could be so I went to a safety razor. Takes me a little longer but a shave is actually refreshing now and no burn afterward...though I usually have a few more tiny nicks.

got a new electric razor for christmas tho and now that portion of facial hair manicuring is getting close to a hobby for me
