I bought a car last weekend too! Hai guys! Got a Hyundai Santa Fe, we haven't had a car payment in about two years, so I've been saving the equivalent payments since and we were able to buy it in cash, so still no car payments. Next I'm going to replace my pos scion tc.

i would probably pay the car off in 4 years but i don't want to put myself under that kind of pressure. i'm pretty much dead set on a turbo diesel.

one downside of Diesel in Philadelphia, there are not a lot of gas stations in the city that have diesel pumps. Just an FYI...more of a pain in the ass at times.

But on the upside, you only have to fill it up like once a month

Once you cross over a certain point in owning a car, you beat up car becomes a badge of accomplishment. My wife want me to get rid of my crappy scion with 150k miles on it and some body damage, but I've had that car for 10 years. We've been through some stuff together, can't just let her go. I want to see how far I can take her
