Do people actually use sleep masks or are they just used on television?

Bought a fairly giant, mostly unnecessary tv today. Thought it was a borderline asshole move til I saw Lebowski is on IFC just now.

Is it an ultra? I stood in best buy last week for about 10 minutes totally mesmerized. Felt like I was on the court at Wimbledon.

Nah, just a 50 inch Samsung smart jawn. Good price. Looks incredible and none of that soap opera effect on TVs that drive me nuts. It's probably not that big but I mounted it over our fireplace and it feels kinda giant in the space.

This was really good by the way. Got the country sausage as well as a prosciutto/artichoke thingy. Real solid, a bit pricier than one would want, but fair.

We were also going to do el diablo for dinner but I made an ill thought out decision to get chipotle (i love it, but I got the chipotle in newark because we were hitting SAS cupcakes) which didn't travel well when it was opened 30 minutes later.

I like the atmosphere there, too. But I'm never close enough to drink at the wine bar and then try to drive home.

Speaking of pizza, these Dominos commercials...are they saying their employees (and customers) are too dumb to handle a basic phone conversation to order a pizza? What am I missing?

yeah that's a strange commercial. "Hey folks, ordering over the phone with us is a miserable experience. Go online."

Just bought a 50" Samsung last month. Took me a few days to get used to the size. Thought I went too big but now I love it. I did have to adjust things to get rid of the soap opera effect.

Mrs. Vulture does not suffer from that embarrassment at all. I don't think I've once seen order just order the #4 combo or a regular coffee or anything simple. It's all "can you substitute this" or "can you put that on the side" or "no mayo". She's also not big on ordering on line.

I on the other hand like the on-line ordering because it's a lot easier to make sure the coupon is done right.

My first trip, played it safe and got pepperoni. Aces.

Next trip, got creative with seafood and artichoke toppings. Too wet and heavy - my bad.

Pizza is best when topped with cured meats. I learn that lesson over and over.
