We could work something out with paypal or an account tranfer if you have Wells-Fargo, or you could just cut me a check, wouldn't really matter. You could just reimburse me for the cost of it and the shipping and throw on like $5 and that'd be cool with me. It really wouldn't take much effort. I gotta go to the post office to send presents back home this week anyways.

Like I said, it'd be like a 5 minute ride for me to get it. Plus it's right by this place that has really good gyros, so I'd have an excuse to get a delicious gyro.

YOU ARE DA MAN! I'm leaning towards *not* stolen, based on the ad. "includes extension cable for easy install" doesn't sound like something someone who ripped it out of a car would be aware of. But who knows. It did seem kind of sketchy when the dude was resistant to shipping it, but just now I clicked on the craiglist link and they say "avoid deals that involve shipping". I'm sure they mean from a BUYER's perspective, but they don't say that, so he may be going by that.

Anyhow, the dude suggested that you contact him to arrange the meet-up. I feel odd kind of throwing that at you, but I guess that actually is the best way, instead of me trying to broker a time/place between you two for the meetup. Let me know if this is cool, and I'll text him and let him know you'll be in touch. If you want to just go ahead and contact him, he'll know me as something like "the dude from the east coast who wants my HDRM-1 who knows some dudes in Seattle".

Of course, I'll pay you whatever/however you want!! (I am Wells Fargo BTW!!) THANKS!!!

BSG. What a world!!!

just went to e-mail him and he deleted his post. sorry, bucky.

I texted him...he said bleh's check bounced so it's still available.

I mentioned the gyro place as a potential meet-up spot. He said he's working today but tomorrow would be better. Unfortunately he didn't give an email and said for you to just text him. I'll PM you his number. If you'd prefer, I'll do all the back-and-forth texting so you don't have to expose your phone number to him....

Yeah, same here. My wife keeps telling me I should make a Pinterest account because I'll find so much cool stuff on there. So I was like what and she had me search for something on her profile so I could see all of the awesome stuff. I seearched for "iPad" the only results that came back were for DIY knitted iPad cases. Case closed

You can write 8 pages for a 3-5 page assignment. You can write meaningless gibberish. You can write 10 sentences in a row that begin with "Locke believes...." (Though it is impressive that you have the ability to peer inside the consciousness of a man who has been dead more than 400 years) But you cannot write 8 pages of meaningless gibberish. Who knows--maybe if you had cut the worst 50% of your paper you might have received a decent a decent grade.

I felt justified not reading after page 5. Maybe there was something brilliant on pages 6-8, but I'll never know.

i know it sounds kinda shitty, but i'd hate having to be a professor who has to read papers prepared by students who barely know anything about the subject they're writing on.

reeks of when we get calls in at work and some DOT employee or construction client tells me why my forecast is wrong. some road crew guy in Port Angeles told me yesterday that it was probably "too cold to snow". took me everything not to tear into that guy with science.

nobody. students are learning the subject for a reason. it's not their fault they don't have however many years of expertise on a subject. unless you're suggesting that most students know more about the topic they're learning than their professors.
