ok, had to say it somewhere since i promised not to tell my or her family...i was the most scared i ever was today. had to take my fiancee to the emergency room because of a sharp pain in her abdomen she's had for a month. she was trying to stick it out until seeing a specialist but couldnt. she doubled over with pain. multiple people in her family have had cancer, and her sister, mother, aunt, etc. all have had hysterectomies or else i think they'd die. i very worried, way more than when i myself had to go to the hospital multiple times in the past. luckily, she may just have diverticolitus (sp.?) after 7 hours they let her go with multiple antibiotics and Vicodin (she's been out since 8pm).

but i realized that i did want a kid with her and if she had something her entire family had, we woudlnt have had that option. also felt mortality, and it got me worried that i wouldnt be able to raise her daughter alone. i had to stay strong for her, but it worried me. dont know what id do without her.

sorry for the rant. just had to spit this stuff out.

He's being made a scapegoat. not that a dude should have pot and percocet in him while operating heavy equipment - but there is much much more to this story. having a guy who looks like this dude high at fault makes it very convenient for the media and city officials.

Wow, good luck pacino. I know from experience how gut-wrenching waiting for a cancer diagnosis is. My wife agrees that while the treatment sucked, waiting for the diagnosis in the first place was the toughest part, emotionally.

Also, diverticulitis is no joke either; my boss had a chronic case and had to have part of his colon removed.

This was my first thought as well. That and a large number of construction workers likely have something in their system that they shouldn't.
