wow, good customer service, whooda thunk. Monday I ordered a new monitor for my kid's PC, prompted by a good deal on a newegg flyer. Was a '48 hour price reduction'. I looked at the item listing yesterday (Tuesday) to check on some specs that seemed to be wrong*, and I saw the price was now 10 bucks cheaper!! So I emailed customer service late last night asking if they had some sort of price guarantee. Just got an invoice with 10 bucks deducted. Not too shabby!

*For those curious, because it's just a monitor: -It's an "LED" monitor, and the box says "Full Widescreen LCD". Of course, LED is most efficient, so I needed to make sure I ordered the right thing. Here's the explanation:

What is an LED monitor?

The term "LED monitor" generally refers to a monitor with an LCD panel and an LED backlight. A typical LCD monitor uses cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL) as a light source to illuminate the LCD panel. In an LED backlit monitor, white LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are used as the light source. Environmentally-friendly LED backlights provide the following benefits:

About 50%* less power consumption compared to traditional CCFL monitor
Mega dynamic contrast ratios. Provider deeper blacks and richer colors.
Environmentally-friendly mercury-free backlight
Low EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference)
Slimmer design
Weight reduction

I really dislike strip clubs. Can't suspend how much the girls are disgusting to me even for an hour or two. Don't even like it when they touch my shoulder. As I type this out I realize how douchey and or elitist this sounds.

Now that I think about, there was a guy on the EMB who thought that strippers were just regular girls working their way through college or paying for medical bills and how he is friends with a lot of them. Anyone remember that guy? Bleed Eagles Green I think.

it's reasonable. I hardly ever go and when I do, it's more like 'something goofy to do with a bunch of people' than 'I really want to ogle some tits'

Same. The only time I absolutely refused to go was what would've been leg three of my bachelor party (phillies game, then bar). I guess that's kinda douchey to do too, but hey, I never ever call rank, and that was one time when I could. Why do something I don't really like??

I told my best man I wanted no strip club for my bachelor party. So he brought the strippers to us. Big, big mistake.
they were a chick hanging out with her friends at a bar, the Phillies would be the 320 lb chick with a nose wart and a dick - Trent Steele

hate strip clubs. but once you get in and have a few drinks in you they can be pretty fun.

love when they force you to deposit a dollar in their vagina or force you to rub their nipple when putting a dollar in the bra. friend almost got kicked out one night because he just stuck the dollar out from his body and was like "here you go!!" the girl said thats not how they get tipped here and tried to force heavy petting. so creepy
