Completely forgot about St. Patrick's Day. Was going to go out tonight after work, but I'm guessing most people will be "celebrating" tonight...

St. Patrick's Day is awesome. My dad makes corned beef and there is usually great college basketball on.

91% sure we had this argument last year. Put me in the pro St Patrick's Day corner. Booze, corned beef, and basketball.

I only remember St. Patrick's day cuz today's my birthday. That being said I almost forgot this year. So far I've celebrated with a happy birthday text from my sister followed by her asking me where to get free e-books.

Over twelve years now I have cursed twice a year while mailing my county tax and then school tax bills to my mortgage holder for payment, since I always go verify the address hasn't changed since the last time (which it has twice). So I sent an web help request today saying "do you guys happen to have and email address where I can just scan & send my tax bill?". Their reply? "We currently work with the tax collector of Whitemarsh Township to obtain the tax amount. To confirm, payment will be made before the delinquent date of 4/30". I just mailed it this morning, and yes, they got the township and delinquent date correct without me mentioning them in my initial request. So happy for a researched and good response, but so pissed I didn't know this before...

I haven't felt the need to celebrate a birthday since my 21st

yup.

i guess st. patty's day means more for you with an irish heritage. my slavic family never did anything special for it growing up(or acknowledged it, really) and now it just seems like a rationalization for people to act like drunk morons. not that there's anything wrong with acting like a drunk moron...
