Damn, when I used to live in Flemington, we would go to John & Peters all the time. A few friends of mine still play gigs there regularly. I didn't know her, but all of the staff there was great, hope she's found safe.

i dont have AAA so she is letting me use hers. the spare is under the car. it has never been used. odds are it is rusted on there. hoping they can fill it enough for me to get to a shop for a patching.

i know how to change a tire. my car is 13 years old 210k miles. the base of my jack is rusted in the compartment it sits in. the AAA guy got the tire off and changed it. so whatever haters.

meanwhile, what is with the new breed of AAA guys? Where we are, they arrive in about 25 seconds & are only too happy to spend all sorts of time taking care of the most routine sort of thing (jumpstart, tire change, etc). Many if not all seem to have skills that far exceed those needed to handle these low-grade issues.

Is there some under-reported surplus of garage guys?
