I've heard people say they're heading "uptown to Temple" (or wherever else up that way) but never any specific area referred to as uptown.

Well, I'm trying. Had a second interview for a new (9 to 5) job last week. Trying not to jinx it so I haven't said much. It'd make going to school a lot easier. Probably would make seeing my girlfriend a lot easier too. It would basically be a lateral move but my job doesn't have promotional opportunities or, currently, a contract, which means no one has gotten a raise in three years. The new one would at least give some chance at moving on up.
