TV, good thought...we haven't bought anything but leather for the past 10+ years. But maybe I can find a old pair of rubber in the closet that fit and don't have holes...

I bought a pair of these last year with high hopes. My feet must be weird or way too big, I couldn't swing the transition between foot extended and then bent, there was never enough room in the boot to do so.
