My parents enrolled me in the 'gifted' program when I was in elementary school instead of skipping me ahead a grade or two(didn't want me to be too much younger than my classmates). We lived out in the boonies at the time so we'd get bussed to another school once a week in order to make a class large enough to be worth having. 'Enrichment Day' (sounds like some Ray Bradbury thing to me still) was every Tuesday, and the school we went to offered chocolate milk at lunch every day of the week. I thought this was pretty neat at the time since our school only offered it on Tuesdays. It took a little while for me to figure out we kinda got screwed, gifted or not.

i got kicked out of the girfted program in my elementary school. somthing about my attitude i guess. personally, i didn't like the idea of getting twice the homework as my other friends. they tricked you with all these fun and games but instead had you reading books all the time. i'm like ten years old... fuck that shit!

it is a pet peeve of mine when those who work in retail/foodservice think that they should be allowed to close before, you know, actual closing time. I've worked it myself so I'm not pulling a romney

i did it. got a california turkey club with applewood bacon, avocado, tomato, mixed greens, other things + fries + a coke
