At the time you had to schedule an in-person appointment to get it, which meant no standing in line at the DMV. And it sure came in handy for the Vancouver Olympics!

You're correct sir. They do have a Pass Card thing available via the State Department for 55 bucks:

I notice a lot of girls wearing clothes with PINK written on them, or I LOVE PINK. I don't think it has anything to do with the musical artist and I'm not sure if its some cleverly marketed sexual innuendo.

I'm thinking about doing a trip to Montreal in October. It's like $150 round trip to take the Adirondack train there. Seems like a steal.

That's not bad at all for round trip. I'm actually pretty surprised its that low. Have you been before? I love Montreal, it's one of my favorite cities in NA.

I've never been. I'm thinking that my trips for fall and winter are going to be French themed. Montreal in the fall and New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

I figure I can enjoy the train ride, ie drink, both ways and hotels look to be dirt cheap as well. Need to recruit a friend, but I think this is going to happen.

Another way of putting it is that they would gladly take a 5% tip if you pay the fare in cash then a 20% tip if paid by credit card. Which probably says something very bad about the economics of being a driver and how the cab owners take advantage of them.

Yeah this was a business trip, our expense guide says fare plus customary gratuity is within guidelines for the corp card. I didn't know what customary gratuity was, but I didn't wanna go over $75 because then I'd have to do a bunch of paper work and I have enough paperwork to do. But anyway it all worked out in the end.

Decent hotels can be had for less than $100 a night. I think this is a great idea.

My girlfriend snored all night, my dog was licking his dick all night, my train was delayed 1/2 hour, Republicans don't care that their VP dreamboat is a dirty liar, new people are doing better than me this week at work. Super cranky.
