I've never been. I'm thinking that my trips for fall and winter are going to be French themed. Montreal in the fall and New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

I figure I can enjoy the train ride, ie drink, both ways and hotels look to be dirt cheap as well. Need to recruit a friend, but I think this is going to happen.

Another way of putting it is that they would gladly take a 5% tip if you pay the fare in cash then a 20% tip if paid by credit card. Which probably says something very bad about the economics of being a driver and how the cab owners take advantage of them.
