it's taken darn near a full 2 years, but my dog is finally not being a dickhead puppy anymore. he mostly eats, shits, runs around for a little, and sleeps all day. best dog ever.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

according to the articles about Petrino's firing, the Associated Press was able to get the substance of all of his text messages through a Freedom of Information Act request. now specific text messages of his are being reprinted in the news. does this creep anyone else out? is there any kind of relevance clause? the articles I've found don't specify whether the FOIA request was with the college or maybe with the police if they confiscated his phone. just seems like an overreach to me. if I were written up at work, could one of you request the report?

Is the University 100% private? That might have something to with it maybe? It is creepy though.

This is just a shot in the dark, but it's a state university, so he's considered a state employee and he was probably using a phone he was given for work, so it makes it part of the public domain

I stopped drinking coffee about two weeks ago, partly just because it didn't seem to effect me at all. had one this morning on a whim and I am jittery like a cartoon character

I think some of this is governed by state FOIA statutes. There is a context here as well. Local boards and governments have long operated under a veil of secrecy and have sought to obstruct compliance with FOIA requests at every turn. In response, a number of journalists and activists have gotten very aggressive in filing FOIA requests. U of A probably just figured it was a lot easier to comply (in part because they knew information they released would add to the justification of firing Petrino) than dragging this out with an FOIA fight. So, they're not dragging Petrino's name through the mud, they're complying with state law.

it seems to me that, more than any other fruit, there is much controversy over the ideal ripeness of a banana.

Couple of spots to maximize sweetness but not so many as to get the gross brown squishy bits on the actual fruit. End of debate.

Overripe (because mushiness is the leading indicator of a fruit passing out of ripeness) nanners are for baking. Under-ripe nanners can be okay in cereal I guess.

talking about just eating. obviously, if you're making banana bread you want it mushy and brown.

i like bananas in all forms. i love buying a bunch of 6 and going through the evolution from the almost overly sweet taste of slightly green bananas to the starchy, almost pungent qualities of a well-ripened bananas.
