I'm probably part Irish - my last name is originally Portuguese, but probably came to America by way of Ireland and/or Scotland, and my mother's maiden name is Irish. But my family went west a long time ago, to the point that I can't even trace any relatives who were born in eastern states, so I'm pretty much American mutt.

So I'm celebrating St. Patrick's Day with some Australian wine and a pack of Marlboro Lights.
