like housh said, sell by date is the best indicator. unless it's growing shit. i've had mold on yogurt/sour cream a week before the expiration.

Yogurt is "spoiled" to start with. It's still OK as long as it's not fuzzy.

Koreana in University City is good and reasonably priced. Pretty sure they have bulgogi but I haven't tried it.
