let Santorum's "bomb" be a lesson to us all: you can try to repress your natural urges, but eventually they wind up spurting forth in some context or other

as is the action taken with respect to Senator Paul: my guess is he may have been detained, rather than retained.

Newt was retained, by Freddie/Fannie

Most of the losses were in the first three months of his presidency. He is clearly at fault

Buck, you should post the source of such numbers; otherwise house wingnuts will presume you made them up yourself

And based only on what look like completely bogus health insurance premium figures - they should probably be higher - my feeling is these figures are only half-baked.

He's so running with Romney. The two made a pact way back when Christie withdrew. I'd bet Jeff2f's salary on it.

Anyone mention the re-emergence of Noot's kid janitors in the last debate? Where Noot said...

New York City pays their janitors an absurd amount of money because of the union. You could take one janitor and hire 30-some kids to work in the school for the price of one janitor, and those 30 kids would be a lot less likely to drop out. They would actually have money in their pocket. They'd learn to show up for work. They could do light janitorial duty. They could work in the cafeteria. They could work in the front office. They could work in the library. They'd be getting money, which is a good thing if you're poor. Only the elites despise earning money.

I assume by "light janitorial duty", Noot's referring to "cleaner" (mop floors, vacuum carpets, empty trash, clean toilets, etc.) and not custodial engineer (the supervisory position that requires certs in HVAC, electrical, etc... I mean, 12 yr olds wiring light fixtures and fixing boilers?).

According to the Service Employees International Union Local 32BJ contract, the top salary for the "cleaner" position in NYC is $37,710 (ABSURD! FUCKING UNIONS!). So the kid janitor salary is like $1000-1200 per year (part time, say 10 hrs/week).

Can I get in on this? Hire a kid @ $20/wk to clean my house every day (10 hrs/wk)? Heck, I'd hire a second one to do the landscaping and clean the pool. A lot cheaper than illegals.

Yeah, kudos to Christie on that.

What is wrong with Santorum? I mean clinically, because there is something wrong with the guy:

as for what's wrong with the floridians in attendance, well, we just don't have time for all of that
