I'm not sure why but that scene where Clark greases up his garbage can top and sleds down the hill always enthralled me. Perhaps it's the part that the ride seemingly goes around the world or the fact that Cousin Eddie was adjacent to him throughout the ride. How else would Eddie be able to encapsulate the ride with a "Bingo" if he didn't see the whole thing?

It's a puzzling scene and I've thought the same thing. Maybe the plate in his head went haywire? Who knows...

The scence where he finally figures out the lights is outstanding. I love Ellen's Dad, Art who only says, "the little lights, they're not twinkling." excellent attention to detail by the old man.

The coach of the Hawks is absolutely amazing. I don't remember how many times he pops his collar throughout the movie but I'm thinking it's north of 3.
