Kewl. Had a Pentagon guy as a Battalion Cdr once. He was funny because he spoke in buzz words. Like "pin the rose on this" and stuff like that. He liked staff studies. He called the Pentagon "The Building." Do they still do that?

So anyways, I watched that Shea Stadium/Billy Joel Documentary and of course, really liked it. You can't hardly make a documentary that I don't enjoy but this one was really good.

I'm a big Billy Joel fan -- one of my rich friends when I was a kid even had the Cold Spring Harbor album -- I didn't know they screwed up the mastering process on that. And, of course, Piano Man was just a huge piece of work in 1973 -- an all time best. I even liked Streetlight Serenader. The Entertainer was a great song and he even used the word "laid" in it which was cool at the time.

Since then, I've pretty much liked most of his stuff.

The documentary was cool as it has Billy Joel history stuff and baseball stuff and stuff from the actual concert which must have been a great time.

I avoid buzzwords like the plague. A friend of mine actually developed a "Bullsh*t Bingo" game when we developing the Stryker BCT concepts...every square had a buzzword/phrase on it...actually try to ban the word "Hooah" from my company when I was commander but the culture was too far gone.

LTC is the next one. Probably the last one as well. Not really too sure I want to compete for Colonel. Too many jackwagons and too much sacrifice...my family deserves my time.

My neighbors all suck. I don't know the number of times they have called the cops in their lives, but I'm thinking somewhere in the double digit territory. I have never called the cops once. My whole goddamn life I haven't called the cops. Because I'm not a pussy. I'm not gonna bitch and moan when music or a party is loud. These people who run to the cops at the slightest cause deserve the worse we have to offer.
