This job is kinda awesome so far. I'm working 9-5 all winter instead of swing shifts like I expected. Have to work weekends, though. Apparently the whole temporary status of this job may have been overblown as they just got a bunch of contracts that allowed them to expand. They're also looking to sending people to the northeast in the next 2-4 years since they just got a contract with the NYC port authority.
