I would say no tip. I worked as a delivery guy for building supplies back in my teenage years. Only got a tip maybe 10 times in 3 years. Didn't expect it. If your propane tank is in a bitch of a spot maybe flip him a fiver or something, but if it's just right outside the door or whatever then nah.

I was thinking of the kind where you bring the little tank to the jawn on Oxford Ave. and the guy fills that up and puts it in yr trunk. I feel like I might have tipped the guy the last time I did that for my parents.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm referring to. I ended up tipping him. Not much, but he should be happy with it.

Oh, I was thinking like for home heating and shit, not the grill one. I've only filled my grills tank once. I didn't tip for that, but the guy didn't put in my trunk or anything. He just stood there, I brought it over to him and took it away. I

wow, same here.

What you've got here is a slippery slope. I get my grill gas at a gas station. Unusual for CT, they pump car gas for you (they're gettin $4/gallon, you'd think they were refining the shit).

Why am I tipping the guy for my grill gas, when I don't tip him for pumping my car gas? Because I WON'T be tipping the guy for my car gas, not in any of your, or even your grandchildren's lifetimes.

Eh, I'm thinking of going native (charcoal) anyway, for me it's moot

That's how I always get my teeth cleaned. If I try to make an appointment ahead of time they're booked for three months. So I just wait til I need my teeth cleaned and call at 7:30 on a Monday morning. They usually say something like "we just had a cancellation, can you be here by 8:00?"
