Nowadays you can get wheat; 8 grain; 13 grain; Russian Rye; non-commie rye; and a few other types of bread at your local safeway. If you go to a bread store you can get even more choices. I like to mix 'em up. Rye is the best for Ruebens.

Mostly I use a fresh roll for sandwiches. But bread comes in handy for some things.

i buy wonder 'smart white', which has high fiber and allegedly a lot of vitamins, and is only 50 calories a slice. That's what I use for my BST (Bacon, spinach, tomato) with lite mayo and can eat two all for around 500 calories. Nice filling lunch. (oh, and it's also the recently mentioned center-cut bacon, which is lo cal).

Chicago is my favorite non-Philly city. Hopefully I get to live there for at least a little when I grow up

There is nothing fun about fun sized candy bars. Its only fun when a candy bar is 2 feet long not two inches

Regarding bread, not to go PtK on everyone, but folks who live in the NE, don't know how fortunate you are that you can easily acquire decent bakery bread, and some of you can access outstanding bread just by going to a nearby bakery. By far the worst thing about the South is the bread is shit. Oh, sure, in some of the big cities there are some okay places. But it's not the same. There's no Sarcone's anywhere. Why any of you who have access to such wonderful bread with almost no extra effort (and yes, I understand Sarcone's specifically may not be all that convenient but you all live nearby a decent bakery I'm sure) would waste time with the tasteless plastic wrapped grocery store bread.

I like to think that Michael Imperioli spends long hours sitting around a table thinking of monologues to give to get people to buy Tequila

my favorite jukebox in the city is at South Philly Tap Room. Anyone bold enough to carry Marquee Moon deserves the recognition.
