It's pretty much my standard operating procedures that I don't eat anywhere attached to a fucking laundrymat.

So I'm mentally transitioning back into school thinking (and crying at how much I'm spending on books) and just realizing that I only have classes on Wednesday and Thursday this semester. One of those things that sounds awesome in theory and will probably be fine in practice most weeks, but I'll fuck up a few weeks with procrastinating too much. Probably in the middle of baseball playoffs.

I had Tuesdays and Thursdays last semester. It was awesome, until all my finals were on the same day. That was bad.

feels good when writing a paper you get into a grove and type out two pages (double spaced of course) in a handful of minutes.

at least you knew before hand. i hate it when they don't tell you and then between 2-4 am their phone is blowing up and they finally confess to you that they have a live-in boyfriend or a husband. i like to keep life a little adventuresome, but i do prefer not to get shot over some stupid chick. you got to stay away from that. while you may have the flash mobs back home, here in az i worry about those murder/suicides which i read about way to frequently.

wtf... two separate incidents this weekend.

I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly, but I think year 2 of grad school was a big fucking pain in the ass.

Spent $370 on 16 books for two classes today. Luckily I already owned a couple on the required list.

You can do that all on-line now, right? In my day, we had to waddle to the Ferren Deck mall to get our books. Check out lines were horrible. And there was always some professor who made you get your books from the Douglass-Cook co-op.

I just got them off Amazon. Most from Amazon proper, a few from their secondary retailers when the lower price was enough to make up for having to pay shipping.

Any international travelers?

I've never been out of the country and was wondering if I need to change anything with my cell phone provider.

I don't plan on using text messaging or data, just need my phone to make a call or two.
