this K Durant commercial just reminded me that when I was signing in at the doctor's on Thursday, this really old white guy strolled up next to me and she asks his name and he says "James Brown, godfather of soul"

Kinda hope he collapsed and the nurses covered him with a paper gown and ushered him back to the exam room

I blame Whoopi Goldberg for the dissolution of Comic Relief.

Wait, so you rode a bike to a strip club? If so, that is impressive.

I have a hiatal hernia and as a result suffer from GERD. I take zegerid, which is otc, and it really does an awesome job of stopping all of the issues, better than prescriptions I've gotten for it. Check it out, change your life.

I like the fact that the android tabs have Hdmi out and the ones I'm looking at, acer iconia or asus transformer, have USB ports for flash drives or external hard drives, and are 16x10 aspect ratio. The lack of apps for the android ones really concern me though and I have an iPhone already so I've got apps aplenty ready to put on an iPad.

Or should I just say eff it and get a mid range laptop? I don't know what to do.

The lack of apps for Honeycomb is a little overblown IMO. I have the G-Slate (LG 8.9" Honeycomb), and although there are only a few hundred technically "optimized for tablet" apps, most Android 2.2 apps work just fine. Sure, there's some slight distortion in some, but I've never found an app in the Android Market that isn't better on my tablet than on my phone.

Oh, and be sure the HDMI-out is full mirroring, and not limited content. HDMI mirroring will change your life. As long as you go with one of the dual-core tablets, so there's no lag, buffering, or other nonsense. Today I downloaded Social Network in 1080p for free, watched it in a waiting room for a while, paused it, then hooked it up back home via HDMI on my 42". Can't do that with an iPad. Oh, and I'm now playing Angry Birds @ 1080p and 42". My cats are going nutso.

That sounds pretty awesome. Hmmmm.... I really want to check out the transformer before I make a decision but I can't find one any where. I really kind of want to go the android route, I love my iphone and all, but for a tablet, I want something I can fuck around with a little more, the iPad 2 isn't even able to be jailbroken yet. I gotta find one of these and play with it. Where you get the movies from?

Yeah, I was riding alongside friends so it was a slow ride. When the club let out I was one of at least five people riding bikes home from the place.

Very underrated city. Like a mini-San Francisco with younger, more-heroin-addicted homeless population. I used to do alot of work for a company with a big office on the other side of the river in Washington. I've probably spent two months living at the Governor Hotel which has a great steak joint (Jake's) on the first floor.
