What was his old handle

He's apparently fresh meat. Just started posting in the Phillies thread on the Eagles' MB about 2 weeks ago and he was encouraged to post here since he's awesome. He'll be the 2011 version of joe table.

I'm a fan of using EMB as a feeder system to the big leagues here. Some, like table, and this Big Piece fellow, get fast tracked to the majors. Others will eventually get here in due time. And then there's djbigpelf, who got a cup of coffee in the big leagues before being sent down never to return again.

/love baseball metaphors

There are a few solid posters here who originated from the EMB. Youself, myself, Napalm, PTOITWCFTFF, table, and now the B1G PIECE. I kind of feel like a minor league scout for BSG, in a way, which, in fact, is lamer than it sounds. we got a few in waiting, too. I'll try my best to warn for people like big BIG PELF in the future, who is as much of a joke over there as he is here.

So I guess I was an undrafted free agent? Do we have any rule fivers? Is Phight on the disabled list (:ce:)?
/pushing the metaphor too far

You were a high priced Japanese star. Well worth the high posting fee in graems.

Phight keeps getting stashed on the 60 day DL because he'd never clear waivers.

No Rule V picks yet, but if anybody ever comes over here from Fugees, that's their category.

I can go on forever with this, I think.

it may not be a sign that groupon has jumped the shark when I get one of their offers for a bargain on indian food at an irish pub, but I'm gonna go ahead & take it that way

I'm going to have a manager at work today for the first time in about a month and a half. I have maybe 45 minutes of work to do today, so I'm just holding off on doing it until she gets here.

Maybe its time for a new job.

An idea for a shop on South Street would be to have drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, centered mostly on non-alcoholic. I know I lost most of you) from around the world you could sample. You get three six ounce samples of various drinks, which can be traded with friends. I'll call it "Drink, Drank, Drunk." Who's in?

Seems Center City would be a better location, like Reading Terminal. Or maybe even around the historic district, like around 5th and Chestnut. Seems like a good family type place.

If I were a politician in DC I'd probably pretend to have seen the Dead Osama photos, 'cause otherwise I'd look like a loser.
