I was playing frisbee with about 10 guys one afternoon in college. Our one friend, let's call him Simon, was reserved about leaving his cell phone by this bench because there were a bunch of people there. So he moved his stuff. After the game, we found out that kids stole our phones. Simon then added the cherry to the shit sundae, saying he knew someone was going to steal our shit, and he saw them running away. I didn't happen to bring my phone that day, but it didn't stop me from joining in the crowd in screaming at him. If he knew someone was going to steal our shit, then why didn't you move everyone's stuff or at least give a heads up. His response was that everybody should have known. Simon never recovered that day from our group's collective opinion on him.
