They're the same thing. Diverticulitis is the flared-up/painful version of diverticulosis. I know, I have them.

The best way to keep the flares down is to eat a lot of fiber and to not eat seed-like things -- corn kernels, sesame seeds, etc.

I haven't had a flare-up in a long time after cutting seed-like things out of my diet.

just got back from Clearwater. Rode home with two chicks from NY that I met at a bar. We spent last night at a Holiday Inn Express somewhere in NC. Just found $20 in my pants pocket. The last 72 hours has been full of win. Divorce can suck it.
