When I was in Houston over New Years, we went to this burrito place that was like Chipotle but way better. It was awesome. In a couple of weeks, we're going to San Antonio, and I hope I can find a burrito there that approaches the one I had in Houston.

I have the whole damn thing practically memorized.

Many of my fantasy teams over the years have been named after lines from it.

Watchmen is a 7.7 on IMDb but I thought nobody liked it. Fanboys musta gotten out en masse.

I started watching it at 11:55. It opens with a scene where they say it's 5 minutes to midnight on the Doomsday Clock and they show 11:55 on a digital clock.

If the national popular vote shifted evenly across every state by 9% in 2008 (toward the old guy who lost, obv), it would have been a tie in the electoral college. That would have been a fun month or two.

i was just reading about the Doomsday Clock and how the closest its ever been to midnight was like six years after they invented it and it reminded me of how the terror alert level went up to orange just a few months after they initiated it, and then like every time after that they'd do it every once in a while, just for a couple weeks at a time. and after the first time it just seemed like "oh, yeah, sure, it's at orange now. whatever." and then i saw the last time they did it nationwide was in 2004.

feel like when the Doomsday Clock got pushed to 11:58 in 1984 that must have been a sphincter-clenching moment, though. pretty glad i wasn't alive then.

I was worried Easter was this weekend or next cause Easter candy has been available in stores for a few weeks now.

April 24th? Jeez that's a late Easter.

According to Vox, it pretty much can't be later. It's also weird because the last two years were pretty early.
