Lex Calvin Ball doesn't rhyme. I think I'll call him Lex sometimes though anyway just to throw PTK off the trail.

So some poor unfortunate family lost 7 kids in a house fire about 45 minutes south of me. It was a tragedy.

The funerals are this week, and the good folks from the Westboro Baptist Church are coming to picket (I'm sarcastic with the good folks part, hopefullly that's obvious).

I am fearful as to what might happen. Perry County has a strong interest in the 2nd Amendment, if you know what I mean. I am hearing a lot even from people in church this morning to the tune of, "well, if they go to Perry County, they'll just get what's coming to them." Some of that surprised me- I understand the anger, the hate even, but I'm fearful of the ramifications if that anger is carried out.

I'm not trying to make this a political thing or a guns rights thing. At all. But what I am fearing is that this is the exact type of thing that Phelps and his crazy-ass legion want. They would love for someone to injure one of their own so that they could march into court and just make more money to continue spewing their vile hatred.

I'm hoping and praying they don't even show up (for the family's sake primarily, but also so that a lot of people I know and love in that area aren't hauled off to jail on account of these horrible, horrible people).

I've thought alot about a potential criminal case against someone attacking the Phelps and I imagine it would be pretty hard to find a jury for that right? I mean someone could literally shoot all of them and if I was on a jury I wouldn't convict them of anything.

How the hell would you find people who don't have something against the WBC?
