I talk to my parents about once a month, and it's always them who call. My mom also complains about that. My dad usually emails me a couple times. It sounds awful to say, but my parents rarely cross my mind. I have no soul.

I almost never talk to my mom on the phone, but we e-mail occasionally and I take her out to dinner at least once a month. My dad used to call once a month or so but now that he moved down south he calls all the time -- I'll try to answer one out every three or so. Hate to say it but it feels like a chore. Hate the phone.

i gotta be better about it. I don't have a set amount of times I do it. I have my phone send me reminders every thursday night, but I end up forgetting anyhow. Since my dad is into sports, and checks his email a lot, it's not a problem keeping in touch. But my mom never checks email or uses facebook or anything so it has to be a phone call

My mom has the uncanny ability to call me whenever a) I'm out at a bar at midnight on Friday, or b) when just about to seal the deal. And if I don't answer she will keep calling. Kill me. This explains why most of my ex's did not like my mom.

I talk to my dad almost daily ever since my mom passed away suddenly last month. He seems to really appreciate it and he seems to be doing pretty OK. He's a really young 72.

No idea, but have you ever deleted posts? Maybe the deleted posts show up in your count but not in the search.

Deleted posts are erased from existence. My guess is that you had posts in thread that were moved to the Mods thread. If you really want, I can check, but I have to go pick up BabyVox from school, so it'll be a bit.
