I used to pocket 10%, though it went up to 25% once I started going to bars.

Is Lil' Vulture gonna get dinner at this birthday party, or am I going to have to make her something?

I just found this $25 Steak 'n Shake gift card that I got for Christmas and forgot all about. I'm not really a fan of Steak 'n Shake, but I'm a huge fan of FREE Steak 'n Shake.
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!

Bad news: my daughter said "shut up" for the first time ever today.

Good news: she said it to my mother-in-law, who I've been dying to say that to for about 7 years now.

Eli's really matured. I don't think he could have delivered that "Bring it Donny" line with any sincerity before the Super Bowl.

I had a random thought earlier today, but I've forgotten what it was.

On the other hand, if they're going to sell strings of Christmas lights that say if one bulb goes bad the rest will stay lit, then when one bulb goes out half the string shouldn't go dark.

However, I've at least learned that packing away these strings until next year and hoping you'll be able to fix them or the Christmas light fairy will magically repair them, is just a waste of time.

Crazy story time.

I was helping my friend move today. He has this 3 piece leather sectional couch that we loaded in to the back of my dad's orange pick-up. For those of you in West Chester this will make sense. After you get off 202 to get on 100 a piece of it blew out. I have no idea how. It is a freaking couch. I saw it flipping down the road in my side view mirror. I then looked to my right to see some guy in a car waving frantically at me to tell me my couch was rolling away, which it was.

Luckily it didn't hit anyone. It was covered in cat hair already so it was natural that it landed on its feet and in the shoulder out of harms way. I finally pulled over about 500 yards up the road and started to walk back to the couch. It was a decently long walk on the side of a busy highway. Everyone was staring at me and laughing.

I got there and got the couch out of the road and recovered one of the cushions that had also blown out. By this time this high school kid name Kevin, who had seen it all happen, pulled up. It is crazy he did this because you have to go to Exton turn around, go back to West Chester turn around again, and then get back on the road I was on.

Anyways, we started talking. Turns out he is DJ and had a gig that night. For some reason he then showed me his DJ equipment in his car. All on the side of a highway mind you. It was surreal.

About then my friend pulled up. We shoved the couch in to his car and drove it up the road. We strapped it down in the truck. The thing only had a handful of rips and what I can only best describe as rug burn on the leather.

I don't think this was it, but the NJ DMV is so much better than it was years ago. I had to get my daughter's car inspected (well, it's my car, but she's the one that uses it mostly) but she couldn't find the registration. so I had to stop by one office this morning to get the registration and then go to the inspection station. The two things combined took about thirty minutes, and everyone was pleasant and helpful.

When they're boxed up and put away, the Christmas light fairy can't access them for repair. You need to leave them strung on the house or tree... until at least July (the Christmas light fairy is always backlogged).

So, I know you were all wondering, and my girlfriend doesn't think I'm an asshole anymore. As a matter of fact, she didn't even remember calling me that. My life is wonderful
