More wedding stuff: "black tie optional" seems kinda bizarre to me. Doesn't that just make for a weird mishmash? Do the people who just wear suits look like scrubs next to the tuxes?

Yeah, I guess non-optional would be worse. I'm already on cash lockdown through November just to afford the room so renting a tux is out of the question. Should I wear a black tie with my grey pinstripe suit to kinda halfass it?

I was just at a black tie optional wedding and it seemed like more than half of the people wore suits, so I wouldn't worry about it.
