Barry Jive, stop lying. You ARE the 701 level
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Please let me fall asleep without too much fuss.

I hate that when I know I'm only going to get 3-4 hours of sleep, I lay in bed frustrated that I'm only going to get a little bit of sleep, and it prevents me from falling asleep.

War is a vicious cycle.

I have this same problem, and it's terrible with working rotating shifts. I didn't get any sleep Sunday night into Monday and I still couldn't fall asleep last night until 1 AM.

What the hell happened to Google Maps?

I was going to browse for some directions and it seems every back road now has no outline. It's just the name out in space, and you can't tell where the road begins and ends unless your directions take you over it.

Looks like it just got effed for a few minutes. I only thought they changed something because I closed the site and came back, and it was still like that.

It's fine now though

I am at a 3 day conference about "maintaining a balance in life." Multiple times it is referenced that there will be times that ministry will take over, specifically the entire month of December and most of Lent.

But then they say that we need to respond to this by "immediately bringing everything into balance. I get 4 weeks for vacation. 4 weeks to myself, and the other 48 I am not just expected to work, but to overwork myself to the point of exhaustion.

Case in point- after this conference I'm going on vacation. The day I get back I have a Bible Study that begins at 8:00 AM and I won't stop until 6:00 PM. Then, since I've been on vacation that entire week, I will have to write my sermon for the following morning.

There is a culture in the church that is killing its pastors. I feel it.
Together we will win this game against the evil Space Yankees! Eat Fresh!

Yeah it is. And I barely watch hockey.
