That's a nice flannel shirt. Should have drawn Pelosi's face on the top of the log IMO.

Watched Morning Joe this morning, where they were discussing O'Donnell's debate last night. Consensus was that she seemed to carry herself well, and is actually better than Palin now on camera, since Palin is going overboard with all the "don'tcha knows" etc. Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post commented that the Democratic Party would be foolish to take her lightly ("whistling past the graveyard").

On the one clip they showed of the debate, it looks like she's received some coaching - Coons questioned her about her extreme views (especially from the comments in the 90's). She handled it well, chuckling and chalking it up to youthful enthusiasm, and stating her intention to vote based on the Constitution and not her personal beliefs. I didn't see the entire debate, so I don't know how she did on more substantive issues. She certainly looked a lot more comfortable than Coons in front of the camera, and that will certainly help with some voters. Not saying she's going to win, but it may be closer than people think, especially with the funding she's getting now (close to $1 million in the last day or so).

Maybe I'm in the minority but even as a Republican I couldn't vote for Christine O'Donnell. Even without consideration of her views, I need a candidate who has accomplished something in his/her life. In essence she is a fairly attractive homeless person with a college degree 17 years in the making. Economic and international problems are hard. I can't send someone that my company wouldn't hire for the mailroom to the U.S. Senate.

I agree, but this year is definitely different. Seems like people are tired of the "professionals" and are willing to take a risk.

Please tell me that was made up. Please.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

She's Catholic (IIRC), right? Someone should tell her that her quote on creationism isn't really the definitive position of the Catholic Church.

Then again, she kinda phrased that in a sort of double-speak manner.
