They've already gone nutso by picking an idiot instead the slam-dunk candidate for a seat they should have no business contesting.

Let's not read too much into a low turnout race where people just started paying attention a week an a half before election day

I really doubt that.

Me too, mostly because the timing simply doesn't work out for him. Isn't he running for re-election next year? Can't do that while spending half your time in Iowa and New Hampshire.

I still think Obama will win easily, unless the economy gets actually worse. No Republican currently on the scene will be able to withstand scrutiny--think about the gap between what it evidently takes to win a Republican primary now and a general election. And remember that the 2012 electorate will look different--less white, less old--than this year's.

I do think there's at least some chance that Biden and Clinton switch jobs before the campaign.

tbf, he's on pretty solid grounds as to why he hates Delaware. I drive through it maybe once or twice a year, and that plaza infuriates me every single time.

Delaware was originally part of William Penn's grant from Charles II. They were called the lower counties, and caused no end of trouble for the quakers trying to run a colony.

As my high school history teacher used to joke--Delaware? It's three counties, two at high tide!

And of course, there was the great Candid Camera episode where they closed the state, and no one seemed to mind.

Of course, among some right wingers out this a way, toll roads are seen as a good way to finance road construction.

They are a good way to finance road construction. Just keep all the lanes open on Fridays and Sundays so the backup to pay the toll doesn't take me hours.

I have no problem whatsoever with the $2.80 I gave to the NJ Turnpike today, or the $7 it costs me to get through Maryland coming north from DC.

Rich Gannon went to SJ Prep, which absolves him of any Delaware ties.
